As fitness trainer I very seldom have time to train myself. Yes the trainer needs a trainer. I will start my first workout program December 29th 2008. It has been about two years since I last participated in a solid routine. During that time I managed to keep the weight off by eating small meals daily. My diet consisted of mainly vegetables, brown rice, fruits, lots of water and very little meat. I would maybe swim or ride the bike to keep fit but nothing to strenuous. Now the tall task of training the trainer starts 12/29/2008!! I have been saying affirmations all last week to get motivated and here I am. I have chosen my college track coach to provide me the best service available and in hopes that I would not cheat myself. My coach is an retired Marine and a psychologist. I can feel the soreness, being tired, and still creating time to training my clients. However, I have lots of support from clients, friends and family.
Here is what I expect the first week.
1. I must drink plenty of fluids especially after the session.
2. Lots of Stretching to prevent injuries.
3. Find my level of fitness.
4. Purchased a heart monitor so I will not risk injury.
5. Keep a daily journal.
6. Meal plan. Fresh vegetables, fruits, powder protein
7. Don't get upset with my coach when he smiles at me.(Oh! The Pain)
