We all set out to become the best we can be in life especailly around the new year. Goals all of audden seem to matter for the first 2-3 months we become a person with a mission and we desire the best.
After the third month sonething changes and we tend to either forget the brand new person in January or we play small ball. What stops us from making the complete change in our lives? And why do we have to have goals to help us? The questions are for you to answer.
Goals can be very demanding because we tend to not follow them, make them to difficult, and under estimate who we are. Today I learned that we all hold on to our goals too tight and loose sight of what we our accomplishing.
Intention is the new word for me now. I was in session with a client and I saw a light in her eyes and I believed that shw will accomplish whatever she desired.
She kindly asked me What is your intention or theme for the new year. I thought about it for a moment and I realized that it was time to focus more specifically.
My client mentioned to me today that her theme for 2009 is to open to learning and being aware. She stated by March 1st she will have 7 contracts.
I asked her what is your approach? She came up with three themes and they are as follows:
1. Be open to learning
2. Self Assessment
3. Enjoy being her and accept the 3 new contracts
I thought this was extremely powerful because she did not hesitate, the words flowed as though she rehearsed it all.
We all have atrong desires to be the best we can be. I am challenging you all to Come up with 3 themes that will help you achieve what you define as success. This can be in your personal life, business, relationships or whatever you choose it is time that we stop making excuses and know what direction we desire to go.
You know that saying "KNOW WERE YOU ARE GOING SO YOU CAN GET THERE SAFELY" I have heard that saying and read it. It is true so let's stop making EXCUSES
